What is lazy keto?
What is lazy keto (and what do you eat)?
The term lazy keto is used interchangeably with dirty keto. In my “what is dirty keto” guide, I explained everything about it!
Basically, lazy keto (or dirty keto) is where the only thing people track is carbs, and they try to eat less than 20 grams of carbs a day.
They don’t count any other macros – not fat, not fiber, and not protein. Just the carbs.
Another difference between lazy keto and clean (or pure) keto is that lazy keto allows people to eat food from whatever source they want as long as they consume less than 20 grams of carbs per day.
So many people who follow lazy/dirty keto rely heavily on 1-minute mug cakes, low-carb bars and other fast meals.
It is essentially not as strict with the types of meals you eat or the amount of protein/fat/grain/vegetable ratio as long as you stick to the 20g of carbs or less. I respect that there will be days when it’s more important to make a few sacrifices to stay within your macros.
However, I encourage you to care about the food you consume and it’s quality. The closer to its natural state, the better it is for your body and overall health.
