Rihanna has sparked another love-in with Adele after hailing her pop pal’s weight loss for all the right reasons.
The pair have a long history of gushing about each other and RiRi was back for more with her assessment of the Hello singer’s seven stone weight loss.
RiRi, 32, says the dramatic transformation had nothing to do with the pressures of Hollywood where Adele shipped off to.
‘Adele looked incredible before the transformation and she looks incredible now but you can see how happy she looks,’ the make up and lingerie entrepreneur said, according to Closer magazine.
‘It’s obvious the transformation was for her and not to impress anybody – and I am just happy that my friend looks so confident and content.’
Rihanna is so infatuated with the British star that she confessed she had to stop listening to her music. RiRi gushed: ‘Honestly I don’t think Adele even understands or knows the love and admiration I have for her.

‘The way she tells such powerful stories in her songs is such a talent. There actually came a point when I had to stop listening to her stuff because it was making me so emotional.’
The weighty praise will go down a storm with Adele, also 32, who has been spending time back on our shores.
Two years ago she paid homage to the S&M singer in Time Magazine writing: ‘I actually can’t remember the first time I met Rihanna; I was probably numb from the shock of it.
‘She is one year older than me, but I feel like she’s been around forever. The progression of her superstardom feels steady, well deserved and extremely natural.’
I got Miley high in lockdown…
Miley Cyrus has admitted that she fell off the wagon in lockdown.
But all is now OK, as the Prisoner singer insists she has been back on the straight and narrow for the past two weeks following a stumble after a six-month sobriety spell.
The 28-year-old managed to kick booze and weed before the Covid crisis, but confessed: ‘Being completely honest, during the pandemic, I fell off… and I would never sit here and go, “I’ve been f***ing sober.”’
Chuffed she didn’t spiral out of control, she added: ‘I realized I now am back on sobriety.
‘Two weeks sober and I feel like I really accepted that time.
‘One of the things I’ve used is don’t get furious… don’t be mad at yourself, but ask, “What happened?”’
Not being too hard on herself, she continued: ‘I don’t think that everyone has to be f***ing sober. I think everyone has to do what is best for them.
‘I don’t have a problem with drinking. I have a problem with the decisions I make once I go past that level.’
She credits being ‘very disciplined’ for getting back on the right path.
And she told Apple Music: ‘It’s pretty easy for me to be sober or in and out of sobriety because it’s like the day I don’t want to f***ing do it any more, I don’t.’ Earlier this year, Miley declared starting each day with no hangover had made her feel like a new woman.
‘The thing I love about it is waking up 100 per cent, 100 per cent of the time,’ she said.
‘I don’t want to wake up feeling groggy. I want to wake up feeling ready.’
The Party In The USA singer has had plenty of pain to numb in recent years after divorcing ex-hubby Liam Hemsworth before public break-ups with lovers Kaitlynn Carter and Cody Simpson.

Rihanna’s songwriting pal, LP, might spill the beans on what they get up to on a night on the lash.
After penning hits for RiRi, Cher and Celine Dion, the 30-year-old singer, real name Laura Pergolizzi, says new track How Low Can You Go is about the ‘beautiful madness’ of her partying.

Straight stars playing a gay role is such a grey area, says K-Stew
Romcom: Kristen and Mackenzie Davis in Happiest Season film (Picture: AP/Hulu)
Kristen Stewart sits on the fence when it comes to the heated debate over who should play gay characters on the big screen.
The bisexual Twilight actress appears in new lesbian romcom Happiest Season but waded in on if it’s right for straight stars to snap up gay roles.
‘I think about this all the time. Being somebody who has had so much access to work, I’ve just lived with such a creative abundance. You know, a young white girl who was straight and only really was gay later and is, like, skinny — do you know what I’m saying? I so acknowledge that I’ve just gotten to work,’ the 31-year-old said.
‘I would never want to tell a story that really should be told by somebody who’s lived that experience. Having said that, it’s a slippery slope conversation because that means I could never play another straight character if I’m going to hold everyone to the letter of this particular law,’ she told Variety.
‘I think it’s such a grey area. There are ways for men to tell women’s stories, or ways for women to tell men’s stories. But we need to have our finger on the pulse and actually have to care. You kind of know where you’re allowed. I don’t have a sure-shot answer for that.’

‘Literally, I was going back and forth from the studio to the game.’

‘I like to go solo, I’m not going to lie.’

He told BBC Sounds gaming podcast Press X To Continue: ‘Keep your eyes peeled… 2021 is going to be one of the maddest.’

‘For me, the words are more relevant this year than ever. Christmas won’t be the same for a lot of people this year, and that’s why I picked Winter Song.
