Keto bread in 2 minutes flat!
Yep, you read that right. I’m showing you how to make keto bread in ONLY 2 minutes.
Well, that’s how long the bread takes to cook. The whole recipe – from start tor finish – will take you about 5 minutes. And uhh, I think that’s still pretty amazing!
Especially when you consider that each slice of this keto bread has just 1g net carbs.
So, like I said, each slice of your keto bread will have just 1g net carb if you use the same ingredients that I used.
And the base of this low carb keto bread recipe is made primarily out of 2 ingredients – Blanched almond flour, and unflavored whey protein powder.
The carbs in almond flour can vary A LOT from brand to brand, but this blanched almond flour from Kirkland has the lowest net carbs I’ve seen. Each 28g serving of it has just 2 net carbs. The Kirkland Almond Flour is also MUCH CHEAPER than Bob’s Red Mill Almond Flour – which I had been using religiously up until recently.
So, I recommend getting some of the Kirkland Almond Flour the next time you need to stock up.
Also, I HIGHLY recommend using the same unflavored protein powder that I used for today’s recipe.
I used the Unflavored Whey Protein By Isopure.
I like it for a few reasons…
- It’s ZERO Carb
- It bakes GREAT
- You can make it taste like WHATEVER you want
Other unflavored whey protein powders might work, but I honestly haven’t tried.
There is “soy lechtin” in the Unflavored Whey By Isopure, and it’s a binding agent. So I don’t recommend replacing the protein powder with another ingredient, but substituting it with another brand “could/might/has a chance” at working.
