Adele’s physical transformation and weight loss were never about losing weight to her but more about being a healthier mother to her son.

Adele recently commented that her physical transformation was never about her losing weight. The English native wanted to work on herself and better her life in a healthy way, showing fans that it is possible to start leading a happier life at any moment.

Adele shot to fame after graduating from BRIT School in 2006 where Jesse J also attended. After graduation, she quickly signed a record deal with XL Recordings. The singer has also won numerous awards including the Brit Awards Critics’ Choice and multiple Grammys. Adele was also the first-ever female artist to have two albums in the top five of the Billboard 200 and to have two singles in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100. Not only that, but she was also the first woman in history to have three simultaneous top 10 singles, which included “Rolling in the Deep,” “Someone Like You,” and ” Set Fire to the Rain.”

According to People, Adele is now turning heads wherever she goes thanks to her major weight loss. This amazing singer confidently displayed her new look while on vacation with One Direction’s frontman, Harry Styles and comedian James Corden shortly before the start of the New Year. While enjoying Anguilla, fans at first did not recognize The Grammy Award winner as this was her debut after she had lost almost 100 lbs. The popular singer talked with fans and expressed that her weight loss journey was a very positive experience for her.

Adele had been sticking to a strict diet and a fitness routine. The singer would use cross-training and full-body Pilates for her physical exercise as well as playing with her seven-year-old son Angelo. An insider told fans that while it was very easy to notice her body transform, it was also about transforming the way she saw herself. According to the source, Adele did not feel physically great and recognized that she had to change her habits so she could be the healthiest version possible. The singers’ focus turned out to be how she could treat her body better acknowledging that the weight loss came from her having stopped drinking and eating healthier foods. The “Hello” singer now has started to dress more confidently and overall seems much happier in her skin.

Adele has already announced back in September that she will be releasing new music in the New Year and fans are more than excited to hear it. The singer spoke out about her hard year in 2019 and that writing her new album was the perfect therapy for her. Even though the star has been busier than ever, she is better prepared for what is to come as her life is more well-rounded. The new album is said to have fulfilled her as she still loves to be an artist.
