Adele has turned down an estimated US$52 million worth of diet endorsement deals following her 97-pound weight loss.
According to reports, the Someone Like You hitmaker has been flooded with offers from TV networks, brands, and marketing firms who were hoping to cashing in on her body transformation.
However, the star turned down all of the bids, insisting she doesn’t want to be a “Kardashian clone” and instead wants to focus on her new album, reported The Sun.
“Adele has flatly refused several multi-million pound deals, including diet plans, food companies, vegetarian lifestyle packages, cookbooks, exercise videos and even catwalk modelling,” a source shared.
“Firms have pitched the Oscar-winner deals galore, but she wants to shy away from being a Kardashian clone by earning loads from a side hustle.”
Adele addressed her weight loss during her recent Saturday Night Live (SNL) hosting gig, during which she quipped: “I know I look really really different since you last saw me but, actually, because of all the Covid restrictions and the travel bans, I had to travel light and I could only bring half of me, and this is the half I chose.”
