Why is there no Sirtfood friendly meat?

Meat is not excluded from the sirtfood diet. With the right ingredients, you can make a delicious meal that is rich in sirtfoods that includes meat. The reason there are no meats on this list is that there are no meats that contain the properties that make them a sirtfood.

The Sirtfood diet is all about inclusion, this means there are no meats that you should avoid. In saying this, if you look at most of the popular sirtfood recipis, you will see that tofu is used as a replacement for meat in most cases.

Second after tofu are oily fish. Fish that are rich in Omega 3 oils. Omega 3 is not a sirtfood, but consuming omega 3 oil will amply the effectiveness of the sirtfoods that you do include in your diet.

It is preferred that you eat white meat over red meat. Chicken breasts for example are much more preferable over steak. Seasoning chicken breast with turmeric before cooking and eating with some rocket will add lots of flavor to the meat while also making it sirtfood friendly.

How To Identify A Sirtfood

Unfortunately, there is little that the average person can do to discover new sirtfoods. Based on the book, the current list of sirtfoods we have were discovered based on years of research, studies and trials. The list above is a great list of sirtfoods for you to use to work on your diet as all of these are proven to contain all of the important nutrients that you need to activate the sirtuin genes to help you start losing weight.
